Playing and saving on your device

The game runs in your browser without a registration form. The Save, Load and Clear controls let you manage a local saved drive. A save includes the challenge date, rules version, action sequence and save time. It stays in this browser’s storage; it is not a cloud account or a cross-device backup. Clear removes the saved game associated with those controls. Browser settings can remove all local site data.

Local game state, completed-attempt information and analytics preferences have different purposes. Clearing a saved drive does not reset a submitted community result or change your analytics choice.

Anonymous community results

When you use the community results service, the site uses an anonymous, necessary first-party session cookie to distinguish that browser’s first completed attempt for a date. The cookie is Secure, HttpOnly and SameSite=Lax, and can last up to one year; game JavaScript cannot read it. Cloudflare D1 stores a hash of the session token, a generated display nickname, creation time, challenge date, submitted action sequence and validated result.

We do not ask for your name or a chosen public nickname. A result link shows its generated nickname, score, date, outcome, remaining time, snap count and calls. Aggregated participant counts and scores can be shown to players. Cookies are not identity verification: another browser can be a different anonymous player. If the service is unavailable, local play still works and community results may be unavailable.

Optional analytics: your choice first

Google Analytics 4 is optional. It is loaded only after you select Allow analytics, and only when a measurement ID has been configured for this site. Rejecting analytics leaves the game usable. Use in the footer to change or withdraw your choice.

Your choice is kept in local storage and synchronized between tabs on this origin. Allowing analytics may send page views and predefined game events to Google, along with standard technical information handled by that service. We do not send tool inputs, action lists, free text, email contents or a public nickname to analytics. Withdrawal stops further collection by this implementation; it cannot recall data already received by Google.

See Google’s Privacy Policy and Google’s information on safeguarding Analytics data.

Hosting, sharing and contact

Cloudflare serves this site and its media. Ordinary requests necessarily reach the hosting infrastructure and can involve network information such as an IP address, browser details, requested URL and request time. The game results database does not persist your IP address. See Cloudflare’s Privacy Policy.

Copying a result writes the displayed share text to your clipboard after your action. A generated result link can be opened by anyone who has that link and can show the score and its share image. Device sharing passes the result text and link to the application you select. Your chosen app may make that result public under its own settings. No posting happens automatically.

If you email [email protected] and the message is delivered to the project, we use the information you include to handle your request. We do not request sensitive personal information. External links are governed by their destination’s policies.

Advertising and privacy requests

No advertising code is currently installed. Any future advertising service will require updated disclosures and controls before activation. The Analytics choices control covers the optional analytics implemented here.

For a privacy question or request, email [email protected] and describe the data concerned. Because the game has no registered identity, we may not be able to associate an anonymous record with a person. We do not promise a retention period or deletion capability that has not been implemented.
